Just a Drop “ Danger ,Deadlines and Frontlines”

02nd February 2017

The Royal Geographical Society

1 Kensington Gore

United Kingdom

We are delighted that our member Fiona Jeffery has shared Just a Drop’s first event of the year with AWTE members. This annual lecture is hosted by JAD patron BBC Hardtalk Presenter Stephen Sackur on 2nd Feb 2017 and is at the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington from 7:30pm-9pm.

It’s a unique opportunity to hear award winning journalists Jeremy Bowen, Middle East Editor for the BBC, Christina Lamb Foreign Correspondent The Sunday Times and Matthew Price, Chief Correspondent, BBC Radio 4 Today programme talk about their experiences reporting from some of the most challenging environments across the world in places of conflict, followed by a Q&A with Stephen .

The evening will then follow with a charity raffle and auction. All ticket proceeds and funds raised via our raffle and auction will go directly to Just a Drop.

We think it sounds like a really interesting and different event and hope that you can support it. With a small ticket price of £15 that all goes to the charity you also know you are helping others in a big way!
