AWTE is delighted to announce that it’s partnering with Everywoman for their 2017 Everywoman in Travel Awards. Established in 1999, everywoman is the expert in the advancement of women in business With a presence in over 100 countries and a successful active network of over 20,000 members, everywoman is recognised globally as the professional organisation that drives the development of women at all levels.

It complements our Chair’s Awards perfectly, as we predominantly recognise members that have really achieved in their business. Whilst Everywoman is recognising much younger talent, to help encourage more women and young girls to consider a career in the Travel industry and become the future of AWTE! The awards take place on Thursday 16th November in Canary Wharf with the following categories being recognised.
One to Watch – This is awarded to an individual in education/further education who demonstrates a passion for the travel industry. This award seeks to identify young game-changers.
Apprentice – An apprentice who is embracing the opportunity the industry offers.
TTG’s Media Tomorrow’s leader – A woman under 30, making a significant contribution to the sector. The applicant must be under 30 as of 31 December 2017.
Entrepreneur – An owner / operator of a travel business that has been operating for three years or more, whose vision will inspire other women to start their own enterprise.
Above & beyond – A woman that has truly gone above and beyond her role to help drive the organisation’s success. This applies to a womanat any stage of her career.
Team Leader – A woman whose team leadership has greatly contributed to the organisation’s success.
Leader – A woman making a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the business.
