Each year our board step down and a new board (with some still standing) get elected at the AGM, which this year takes place on the 26th April.
All members were able to put themselves forward for a position and we were delighted with the members who took the time to find out more and have gone for the board this year. Our board is voluntary and it takes alot of determination and commitment, however the rewards of happy members, a growing network and each year evolving to meet the AWTE pillars of success are well worth it.
This year we have one woman per position. Therefore please open the ballot form attached, complete and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. There is a short description on each of the ladies attached below. As outgoing Chair Debbee Dale will collate the ballot forms and take to the AGM to be verified by our Parliamentarian Monika Warburton.
In order to cast your vote you must be a fully paid member. Your invoice should be with you now, so please ensure that you renew your membership, you can do so online or bank transfer, but please do add your invoice number. Then cast your vote via EMail by the 25th of April or bring it with you on the evening of the AGM.
We will be sending all of our members a personal invite to the AGM and this year we are also asking members to vote to change our By Laws to Articles of Association. So its a very important AGM this year and we look forward to welcoming you to the event.
